The honest answer is four to six weeks for made to measure and eight to twelve for bespoke — but the number that matters is how far ahead you should book, which is longer.
What happens in that time
The first appointment covers measurements, posture, cloth and specification, and takes about an hour. Nothing is rushed because everything downstream depends on getting it right.
The cloth is then ordered, the pattern drafted or adjusted, and the garment cut and made. Fittings follow, and refinements come out of those fittings.
Why bespoke takes longer
A bespoke pattern is drafted from nothing and tested on your body through a basted fitting, where the garment is loosely assembled and then taken apart and corrected. That cycle is the reason it fits better and the reason it takes longer.
Booking ahead
For an event with a fixed date, book three to four months out. That is not how long the work takes; it is the buffer for the things that go wrong.
For a business wardrobe with no deadline, there is no need to plan ahead at all.
If your event is sooner
Tell us the date at the first call rather than at the end of it. Shorter timelines are often possible, but they narrow the cloth options, and knowing early is what makes it work.
